What a freelancer invoice should include
A useful invoice clearly identifies you and the client, uses a unique invoice number, includes the invoice and due dates, explains the services being billed, shows rates and totals, and tells the client how to pay. If tax applies to your situation, include the appropriate tax information required for your jurisdiction.
